June 14th is already the next edition of the annual BME symposium. At this symposium different ongoing research is presented by the research groups and master students.
The symposium takes place in the medical faculty, with the start and finish in the hall of building 3211. It starts at 10.15 with coffee and ends around 16.25 with a drink. The entrance fee is €4,- including a nice lunch and the drinks.

Monday the 7th of March will be the next BME Drinks, or as we say in Dutch, the BME 'Borrel'. After a great 'borrel' early december last year we had the idea that it was time to do it over and this time it will be held at Chaplin's Pub at Gedempte Zuiderdiep 73, opposite the Pathé Cinema.
We hope to see you all the 7th of March.

Every other year most Dutch researchers in BME meet in Egmond aan Zee for the Dutch BME conference. Next meeting is on 20 and 21 January 2011. Last time several Master-students from Groningen joined it to experience current research, get ideas on Master project subjects, internship possibili-ties and job opportunities.
So if you want to join this time, please visit www.bme2011.nl. There is a special rate for Master-students.
